I need to find well versed actors with strong opinions to interview for an on-line magazine being launched in 6 months. There is no compensation, but your interview will be in print and give you exposure! The magazine's main purpose is to give actors REAL info without being scammed. I have been a casting director for 30 years and despise the predators...
Each month, an article will be printed with the PROS and CONS of several topics. Here is what I am looking for. If you feel strongly about any of these topics, please contact me at: c.mcgregor@mindspring.com:
-children should not act - childhood is too precious (I have the PRO side already)
-The there is no racism in the film industry (I have the other side)
-I am a natural actor, I don't need to study
-Every actor needs to study
-Put your personal issues aside with language and nudity - it's a movie - get over it - you're an actor
-There is nothing wrong with plastic surgery, skin bleaching, etc... to become an actor
-You can't think you're going to become an actor living in the midwest somewhere - to really be an actor, you have to be in LA or NY
