A friend brought me the script from London and I was outraged. Maybe the Brits go for that sort of tabloid playwriting Of course, they threw rolls at her at her last gig, didnt they? but I doubt an American audience sit still for it. This is nothing but a collection of one liners that Judy reportedly uttered over a lifetime, here spouted over several days in some hotel room. And as far as characterizations go, Judy Davis already lovingly and accurately channelled Garland, so keep your exploitation on that side of the pond folks.

Obviously Willster hasnt seen the show - Tracie Bennett is amazing in this part and had standing ovations in a full theatre for her 6 month run in Londons West End. Perhaps Willster should keep his views to himself until he has actually seen the show.
