Nebraska Theatre Caravan’s production of A Christmas Carol brings Charles Dickens’ fable of Ebenezer Scrooge’s Christmas Eve redemption to life, with a spirited cast of 28 performers and a live orchestra faithfully portraying all the beloved characters from Dickens’ 1843 novel, and their exceptional voices and lively dancing rendering traditional carols like “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen,” “Away In a Manager” and “Here We Come A-Wassailing.” A musical theatre treat for the entire family, this celebrated production recreates Victorian era London with over 100 costumes, a magnificent set evoking a Currier and Ives print, and ghostly special effects like a spinning bed!
