This gal really knows how to sell a song. I was blown away by her power and her interpretations of beautiful ballads. A must-see!

Devlin at The Metropolitan Room - 11:23AM on 10/11/2007
I will be going back this coming Saturday at 5pm to see Devlin once more. Just sitting on a stool, bathed in a soft spotlight, Devlin turned songs like Cry To Me, Amanda McBroom?s Wheels, and The Heart Knows written by her accompanist, veteran music director Rick Jensen, into three-act plays. Exhibiting great control of a voice that was capable of soaring to the heights, she never sacrificed the meaning and tone of what she was singing for a flashy moment.
