1 What a breath of fresh air ... Performers who dont have to also sub for the band in a Sondheim show!
2 I believe the fine singing actress who plays the mother and even closed the final Yul Brynner tour as Mrs. Anna is Mary BETH Peil.
That was probably just a typo that was not caught.

A visually stunning performance and a superb cast that included some from recent wonderful past performances at Paper Mill Playhouse in NJ . The use of computer animation is very clever. But, where was the soaring french horn at the end of the acts? The reduction in the amount of musicians left the musical underpinnings sounding weak and thin. Without the full complement of musicians used in the original, left some of the - what should be- dramatic moments lacking in punch!
