The critics couldnt be more wrong about this show. I saw it last night for the first time. Cast was marvelous, set was unique, everything about it was fantastic. I hope that this year I wont be as disappointed with the Tony Awards like I was last year...if nothing else, James Barbour must get a Tony nomination. His voice is excellent and his different mannerisms in the show were perfect. Why did the critics hate it? I havent met a single person during its entire run who didnt like it.
