I just loved this show. It was funny, great songs, great dances. I even laughed more than when I saw The Producers. Roger Bart was just fabulous.
Dont miss it.

I agree with your reviewer.....story not as tight, music and lyrics not as funny, Bart was better in The Producers, and the show was too long......
the scenery and special effects were something never seen on Broadway before.....but you cant hum the sets!

Great show! Great Broadway! - 9:40AM on 11/27/2007
Basically its a great experience. For me too much of BWy is pretentious or like a high school theater group. But Mel Brooks will have none of that. I didnt see the Producers so I cant compare, but why would you?
Anyway, each scene was engaging, fun and rolled right into the next. Mel Brooks humor is all over and enjoyable-no one else can do schtick as good as he can. And keep it fun, musical, and entertaining. The songs were well written and add more to the Young Frankenstein experience!!!
